Technical Overview of Digital Transmission of NTA Signal in Nigeria

Television and Radio Digitization is the current trend in broadcasting across the globe including Nigeria. The International Telecommunication Union, ITU, set 2015 for the entire broadcasting stations in the world to go digital. Nigeria Broadcasting Cooperation set June 2015 for broadcast stations in the country to be digitized. This work explains the importance and challenges of Nigerian Television Stations switching from analog to digital technology. Also, the advantages of digitization are outlined and challenges of actualization of the digitization Nigeria.
