Abstract :
The present study investigates the effectiveness and productivity of the modern technology in empowering English Language teachers, by giving them detailed exposure to the modern gadgets of technology which have become crucial and are paving the unpaved ways of English Language teaching across the globe. The study aims to change the views of English Language teachers about technology which previously based on conservatism and staunch opposition. A group of English Language teachers from district Jhang was randomly selected, first to give them elaborate demonstration about the introduction, history, historical importance of technology and presentations of the use of technology in English Language communication skills and then to calculate their feedbacks by pre- test, post- test questionnaires and by the practical, they had to undergo after this whole session for the successful culmination and implementation of the study. The resulting data was analyzed by S.P.S.S software. Results showed removal of embedded fear, inculcation of strong motivation of English Language teachers by the use of modern technology in empowering English Language teachers and their strong dedication for the use of technology in facilitating English Language teachers and in the long run English Language in Pakistan.
