Status of the Dط Silicon Microstrip Tracker

The Dط collaboration looks forward to the start of data taking in Run II at the Tevatron on March 1, 2001 with a new Silicon Microstrip Tracker. Steady progress is being made for the construction of this detector. The current status of sensor delivery, production and assembly, and testing is discussed after reviewing the design.
