CVD diamond particle detectors used as on-line dosimeters in clinical radiotherapy

Chemical Vapour Deposited (CVD) diamond particle detectors have been tested as on-line dosimeters with a 25MV X-photon radiotherapic beam. Our tests show that CVD diamond films with charge collection distance in the range 50–100 μm or higher can be good base materials for the development of radiotherapy dosimeters in on-line configuration.
