Abstract :
Systematic measurements of the gas multiplication factor over the range 1.0 – 5 * 10 5 have been made for Ar / CF 4 , Ar / CO 2 / CF 4 and CO 2 / CF 4 mixtures as a function of the applied voltage between cathode and anode at atmospheric pressure for wide range component concentrations.
