Abstract :
Using the mathematical model of the Black Sea hydrogen sulphide zone ecosystem [Belyaev and Sovga, 1992] its further investigation is carried out. The influence of horizontal water exchange and seasonal boundary conditions on the vertical profiles of ecosystem characteristics are investigated. Also the influence of the hydrogen sulphide zone ecosystem components on the vertical sulphate distribution and the formation of the turbid layer is estimated.
