Abstract :
The aim of the present survey is to investigate the effect of teacherʹs popularity on academic achievements of high school female freshmen students in Sari and the statistical population includes 2000 students which 322 of them are chosen by systematic random as the sample according to the Krejcie and Morgan table and to find out their opinions and views a questionnaire based on Likert scale including 20 closed questions and an open question has been used. In this survey the collected data is analyzed by using descriptive statistical indexes such as frequency, tables and inferential statistics (chi-square x2). Results showed that 59 percent of samples believed that teacherʹs popularity have too much and 22 percent much influence on academic achievements which is 81 percent in total and also has influences on enhancing studentsʹ motivation to learn and sense of responsibility. According to these results it can be concluded that teacherʹs popularity has impacts on studentʹs academic achievements.
