Abstract
Inelastic neutrino scattering cross sections for the even–even Mo isotopes (contents of the MOON detector at Japan), at low and intermediate electron neutrino energies ( ϵ i ≤ 100 MeV), are calculated. MOON is a next-generation double beta and neutrino-less double-beta-decay experiment which is also a promising facility for low-energy neutrino detection. The nuclear wave functions required in this work have been constructed in the context of the quasi-particle random phase approximation (QRPA) and the results presented refer to 92 Mo , 94 Mo , 96 Mo , 98 Mo and 100 Mo isotopes.
