Abstract :
The purpose of this research is to illustrate the effect of knowledge dimensions on small
firms’ performance via a model. This paper has been done as a research-applied survey, and
knowledge dimensions has been investigated in three parts education, skill and experience,
and firms performance has been studied in growth and profitability. The statistical
population of this study has been included small and medium size organizations those which
have been established and managed private and they are being exploiting at present and three
years have passed from the start of their activity. Exploratory and confirmatory factor
analysis with structural equation modeling has been used to estimate the model. The results
show the knowledge dimensions on firm performance have a positive and significant impact,
that this effect on growth is more than profitability. On the other hand, in comparison with
knowledge dimensions, skill has the most effect on enterprise performance rather than
experience and education.
