Abstract
Although various research have been carried out on active learning, there exist a gap in the
entrepreneurship educational literature on how active learning aids in nurturing students’
creative innovativeness. Using a case study perspective with different forms of active
learning, year three students on an entrepreneurship skill course were stimulated to come up
with creative products or services that could address a need in their field of study or field of
interest. The findings revealed that active learning aids in nurturing students’ creative
innovativeness thereby contributing new knowledge to the educational literature in terms of
utilizing active learning in entrepreneurship education modules.
