Abstract :
A Strategic Planning has become a conventional concept so that most of businesses and
public organizations practice to pursue their goals and vision. It would crystallize in the
mission statement and vision plan, which is critically associated with the leadership and
followership. The strategic plan also contributes to increase the public knowledge and
relations on the organizations. The concept would have a wider ambit in the contemporary
understanding of subsistence and evolution. A person, interpersonal, and organizational as
well as the inter-organizational exchange would often be pivoted on the concept of strategy
or stratagem. For the essential grasp of strategic planning, the paper explores a brief of
elements with an illustration, which covers 3 C’s, models of strategic planning, and its
utility or service. By doing so, the authors attempted to give an answer for the questions; (i)
why the strategic planning would be motivated (ii) what we refer to in advancing to the
strategic planning (iii) how the 3C’s work to serve the present context of social and
organizational interchange?.
