Abstract
In this paper, ductile–brittle transition law and three important characteristic parameters, i.e. impact toughness at room temperature (AKV300), ductile–brittle transition temperature (TK), and gradient of transition curve (KC) are studied. According to the measured results which are processed afterwards on the computer, quantitative expressions are obtained:AKV300=f(Me); AKV=AKV300 exp −B300−T3002.The parameter B is also the function of alloying elements and temperature. The calculated results are proved to be satisfactory.
