Abstract :
Crystal anatase titania nanostructures with the diameter of 60–200 nm have been fabricated by liquid phase deposition (LPD) into nanoporous polycarbonate membranes with the precursor solution of (NH4)2TiF6 at room temperature. The crystallity and microstructures are studied by X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and selected-area electron diffraction (SAED). It is found that anatase titania with perfect crystallity may be directly obtained without annealing even in organic templates due to heterogeneous nucleation. These aligned nanostructures are of great potential for use as an excellent catalyst material.
