  • Abstract
The effects of rolling at different rolled reduction ratios (0, 37.5, 50 and 62.5%) in the supercooled liquid region on the microstructure, thermal stability, micro-hardness and electrical resistivity of Zr65Al10Ni10Cu15 bulk amorphous plates were investigated by means of X-ray diffraction (XRD), high-resolution transmission electron microscopy (HRTEM), differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), micro-hardness measurements and four probe method. With the increase of rolled reduction ratios, the nano-scale clusters and the local crystalline phases appeared in the amorphous matrix, which resulted in the decrease of the thermal stability and the increase of micro-hardness while the electrical resistivity first increased and then decreased.
