Abstract :
The magnetic and piezomagnetic properties of the strip-shaped samples of the Fe64Ni10Nb3Cu1Si13B9 alloy were investigated after annealing in vacuum in the temperature range 100–600 °C. The coercivity was in the range from 5 to 50 A/m, the saturation induction about 1.25 T and magnetostriction (22–26)×10−6 (after annealing up to 480 °C). The magnetomechanical coupling coefficient reached the value of 0.62, and the elasticity moduli were changing from 70 to 205 GPa.
