Abstract
Complex permeability measurements in the 5 Hz–13 MHz frequency range were carried out in nickel–zinc ferrites of compositions NixZn(1−x) Fe2O4 with 0.3≤x≤0.4 in the 110–450 K temperature range. A simple method was used to eliminate the coil effects from the sample response. An equivalent circuit was derived to model the experimental results. The circuit elements were associated with the physical parameters of the material. Finally, a relation between the relaxation frequency and the magnetocrystalline anisotropy constant was established.
