Synthesis and characterization of new bis-dienophiles for Diels-Alder-polymerization

Various substituted (heminaphthoporphyrazinato)nickel compounds 1a-e are prepared from substituted and unsubstituted 2,6-diamino-pyridines 6a-c and substituted and unsubstituted 6,7-dicyano-1,4-epoxy-1,4-dihydronaphthalenes 5a-d. The functionalised hemiporphyrazines 1 contain dienophilic side groups and are potential monomers for Diels-Alder-polymerization. 1a-c react with 2,3-dimethyl-butadiene to form the adducts 8a-c.
