Abstract :
To determine the symmetry of the superconducting energy gap, we measured the ac-susceptibility of κ-(BEDT-TTF)2Cu(NCS)2. With shielding geomagnetic field, we confirmed the power law temperature dependence of magnetic-field penetration depth. This result indicates an anisotropic superconductivity of gapless nature in this system. The penetration depth extrapolated to 0K for parallel field was found to be ∼0.22mm of macroscopic size.
