Abstract :
Dication salts of the organic donor bis(ethylenedithio)tetrathiofulvalene (BEDT-TTF), BEDT-TTF(ClO4)2 and BEDT-TTF(BF4)2, have been prepared by electrocrystallization from an oxidizing solvent medium. The crystal structures of the isostructural salts are described and bondlengths in the dication are discussed.
