Syntheses and properties of new donors: 1,6-methano[10]annulene and naphthalene derivatives with tetrathiafulvalene substituents

We synthesized the new donors 6, 7, 8, 9, 11 and 12 in which one or two TTFs are attached either to 1,6-methano[10]annulene in 2-, 2,7- and 2,10-positions or naphthalene in 1,8-positions and investigated the through-space/through-bond interactions between TTF units in these compounds by means of CV-measurements.
