Abstract :
The photoresponse of the high Tc superconducting Y1Ba2Cu3O7−x thin film for 0.63 μm and 1.3 μm radiation was measured as a function of temperature and current. We found that current-voltage characteristics are consistent with the vortex-antivortex unbinding transition. The photoresponse which strongly depends on the applied current can be explained by the photon and current induced vortex-antivortex unbinding phenomena. The temperature dependence of the photoresponse can also be explained by this model.
