Abstract :
Crystal structures of several SHG-active chalcone derivatives were determined by X-ray analysis. The phase-matching direction of a 1-(3-thienyl)-3-(4-chlorophenyl)-2-propen-1-one crystal is discussed by relating to its molecular packing in the crystal.
