Abstract :
This paper reports that five polyyne polymers containing Pd or Ni in the main chain have been synthesized for the first time by poly-condensation and/or oxidative coupling methods. New solvent systems (HNEt2/CH2Cl2;HNEt2/benzene; and HNEt2/DMSO) and homogeneous condensation methods used for synthesis are the first presented. The resultant products have been characterized by using techniques of IR, UV, 1H—NMR, GPC and elemental analysis.
