Abstract :
The γ-radiation influence on the thermal stability of poly(3-hexadecylthiophene) (PHDT) doped with FeCl3 has been studied. The polymer treated by γ-radiation has increased thermal stability, which depends on the radiation dose. The increased stability is attributed to conformational changes of side alkyls and to their crosslinking.
