Using photoinduced absorption and its version of optically detected magnetic resonance, we observe a vibronically split triplet-triplet absorption band in sexithiophene films. The observed vibration frequency is then used to determine the triplet manifold electronic susceptibility and the ground triplet manifold level 13Bu
