Abstract
Highly oriented poly(p-phenylenevinylene) (PPV), doped with sulfuric acid (H2SO4, reaches a conductivity of 104 S/cm in the chain direction, which drops only with a factor of 1.1–1.3 at low temperatures. The low temperature transport exhibits features such as a positive temperature coefficcient of resistivity and positive magnetoconductance which are explained with the localization-interaction model for disordered metals.
