Abstract
We present studies on the DC-conductivity of a new, fully unsaturated carbon ladder-polymer, which we doped with AsF5, K and Rb. The structure of the new polymer is based upon a collapsed fullerene, where every five-membered ring is bonded to three six-membered rings. This leads to a planarized, board-like structure for which we expect good transport properties. We found a conductivity change over several orders of magnitude after doping. Investigations of the temperature behavior of the conductivity revealed, that currently used models insufficiently describe the transport properties. We applied more complex, heterogeneous models, to describe the conductivity in the measured temperature range.
