Abstract
We have synthesized donor-acceptor charge-transfer complexes composed of BEDT-TTF (ET) and TCNQ fluorinated derivatives, FnTCNQ (n=0,1,2,4). In (ET)(FnTCNQ) (n=1,2,4), nonmagnetic Peierls state was suppressed; (ET)(F1TCNQ) preserves metallic state down to 2K, whereas (ET)(F2TCNQ) and (ET)(F4TCNQ) undergo antiferromagnetic transitions at TN=30K and TN=14K, respectively. Novel high conductive phase was also obtained in ternary compound, (ET)1(F2TCNQ)0.5(TCNQ)0.5, which shows metallic behavior down to 2K.
