Abstract :
Synthesis, structure and physical properties of novel LnClx [Ln = Ce, Nd, Sm, Er, Yb x ⋍ 5] salts based on several organic π-donors are reported as the first example of the molecular conductors containing a magnetic “Lanthanide” ion that contain 4f localized electrons in counter anion.
