Abstract
We investigated voltage-response waveforms to repetitive current pulses and found pulse-duration memory effects in the spin-density wave (SDW) phase of (TMTSF)2ASF6; the voltage enhancement at the end of pulses and the rounding of the leading edge of voltage waveforms. These effects are observed under electric fields larger than ET in all temperature ranges from 0.5 K. to 4.2 K. SDW appears to “learn” the change of the pulse duration in the first pulse of new duration. In magnetoresistance and Hall effect measurements our results were in rough agreement with those of Traetteberg et al. We found the magnetic field at which the Hall resistivity shows a peak decreases rapidly with decreasing temperature below 2 K.
