Abstract
The preparation and electrical and magnetic properties of the new compounds (TTF)3 [Au(pds)2]2 · 2.8 CH2Cl2 and (TTF)[Au(pds)2] are reported. In the first compound there are segregated stacks of TTF, arranged as trimers. (TTF)[Au(pds)2] has an unusual anisotropic magnetic behaviour and the EPR studies suggest that there are stacks of TTF molecules along the crystal axis. (TTF)[Au(pds)2] is a poor semiconductor (ρ=1.06×104 Ω.cm, at room temperature), with an activation energy of 0.245 eV.
