Abstract :
Recently, the study on C60 LB films has become a focus of considerable interest. However, it is difficult to fabricate high-quality LB films of pure C60 due to its intrinsic hydrophobicity. To solve this problem, we have synthesized several monofunctionalized fullerene derivatives with polar groups. Subsequently, we have investigated the electrochemical properties of these derivatives and their characterization of the LB films.
