Abstract
The photoluminescence studies and fluorescence lifetime measurements were used to investigate the interaction between dye 2,5-bis(5′-tert-butyl-2-benzoxazolyl) thiophene (BBOT) and polymer matrices. The results indicated that there was no interaction between BBOT and poly (methyl methacrylate) (PMMA), but there existed energy transfer from poly (N-vinylcarbazole) (PVK) to BBOT. The electrolumines-cence of the BBOT/PVK system with different device structures was also investigated.
