Abstract :
Polyaniline has been doped with a new class of protonating agents, namely esters of 5-sulfoisophthalic acid. The incorporation of this type of dopants results in en enhanced solubility of PANI salts. Depending on the protonation medium different type of UV-Vis-NIR spectra are obtained.
