Abstract :
The photovoltaic characteristics of spin-coated thin films of polythiophene sensitized with two different dyes have been measured. We reported on the influence of the affinity between the polymer, and the dye. By changing the dye, the power conversion efficiency is multiplied by 20 to reach 0.01% under a white light of 50 mW.cm−2.
