Abstract :
Eight sulfur containing phthalocyanines have been synthesized, characterized and deposited as spin-coated films. The gas sensing ability of these films towards NO2 has been studied using the conductimetric technique. In those cases where good results were found, Langmuir-Blodgett studies have been initiated to improve molecular organization.
