Abstract :
The organic superconductor βco-(ET)2I3 (Tc ≈ 8 K) was prepared by direct reaction of ET and iodine in organic solvents. The structure, as determined by high-resolution X-ray powder diffraction, closely resembles that of β-(ET)2I3 (Tc ≈ 1.5 K). Keywords: Organic superconductors, X-ray diffraction, magnetization.
