Abstract :
Paramagnetic Fe(III) has been introduced into molecular conductors based on axially substituted metal phthalocyanine for the purpose of constructing a system which has magnetic spins on the conduction paths. Some crystals have been obtained from the electrochemical oxidation of [Fe(III)(Pc)(CN)2]−. The crystal structures are the same as the cases where the metal ion is Co(III), but their physical properties are quite different.
