Effective charge of migrating silver ion in (BEDT-TTF)3AgxI8 synthetic metal — solid electrolyte hybrid

Effective charge of migrating silver atom has been determined from the steady state concentration profile of the element in the (BEDT-TTF)3AgxI8 salt at room temperature. The determined value of 1.05 ± 0.1 corresponds within experimental accuracy to the net Ag+ ion charge, indicating negligible electron wind force contribution.
