Abstract
Angular dependent magnetoresistance oscillation and Shubnikov-de Haas experiments have been done to investigate the Fermi surface for the new organic conductor (BEDT-TTF)2Br(DIA), where the supramolecular …Br…DIA…chains are formed (DIA = Diiodoacetylene). Both results consistently show the presence of a two-dimensional (2D) Fermi surface (FS), whose cross sectional area corresponds to about 50% of the first Brillouin zone. Small 2D FSs are also found, which are not explained by the band calculation.
