Abstract :
X-ray photoelectron spectroscopic study of C60·2(Ph3P)AuCl·0.1C6H5CH3 and related compounds was carried out. It was shown that the satellite structure near photoelectron peak C1s due to ‘intrinsic’ losses created under photoionization is observed. The analysis of the satellite structure shows that the loss channel, which is typical for compounds with Ph3P ligand, is suppressed for the investigated complex.
