Abstract
Oxygen effect on photovoltaic properties of sandwich-structures (SS) based on pentacene (Pn) films and Pn/CdSSe heterostructures (HS) has been investigated. The concentration of oxygen caused caption centers near the interface depends on the top electrode material. The slow component of a photovoltage dominates in SS with strongly oxidized Al top electrode because of the formation of deep caption centers near the interface. The fast component dominates in SS with Ni and Au electrodes. The sensitivity to oxygen of HS is defined mainly by Pn layer.
