New synthesis of phenyl/phenyl end-capped tetraaniline in the leucoemeraldine and emeraldine oxidation states

New synthetic methods have been developed for the synthesis of analytically pure phenyl/phenyl end-capped tetraaniline both in the leucoemeraldine oxidation state and in the emeraldine oxidation state. The phenyl/phenyl end-capped tetraaniline in both oxidation states has been well characterized by elemental analysis, mass spectroscopy and UV–VIS spectroscopy.
