Abstract :
13C NMR measurements have been carried out on the quasi-two-dimensional organic conductor α-(BEDT-TTF)2I3 under hydrostatic pressure. The temperature dependencies of lineshape and relaxation rate, T1−1, at 7 kbar indicate the appearance of two differently charged BEDT-TTF molecules below 120 K. Magnetic susceptibility is strongly dependent on temperature in the high temperature region.
