Abstract :
New tetrathiafulvalenes (TTFs) with fluorine-substituted thiobenzyl moieties have been prepared. X-ray structural analysis of tetrakis(2,3,5,6-tetrafluorobenzylthio)tetrathiafulvalene was performed and showed the presence of the one-dimensional stack mode of packing. Data of cyclic voltammetry (CV) for some of the novel tetrathiafulvalenes are listed.
