Homogeneous catalysts to solid catalysts

Recent advances have been made in the transformation of homogeneous to solid catalysts. They include the use of metal complexes immobilized on organic and inorganic supports, solid acids and bases, redox molecular sieves as solid catalysts for liquid phase oxidations, zeolite-encapsulated metal complexes and supported liquid phase catalysts.
