Materials aspects of amorphous silicon solar cells

Significant progress has recently been made in improving the stable efficiency of amorphous silicon alloy solar cells. This has been achieved through a better understanding of the effect of plasma chemistry and growth kinetics on material characteristics and incorporation of the materials into an optimum device configuration.
