Abstract :
Recent developments in pulsed laser ablation have demonstrated its flexibility with respect to the realization of novel, complex materials and device structures. Superlattices comprising of distinct oxide units or oxide/oxycarbonate units have been controlled on the atomic scale. Device structures combining various crystallographically related materials have also been attained.
