Crystallogenesis of microporous metallophosphates

The principal aspects of investigating the formation of microporous metallophosphate compounds are reviewed in this contribution. The main tool used is a combination of in-situ and ex-situ NMR analysis of syntheses. High resolution solid state NMR is also applied to resolution of crystallographic structures. The possibility of merging in a single description the formation of networks and crystals, crystallogenesis, crystallography and modeling techniques is probably an issue for the future.
