Abstract :
A diphenylsilyl based aromatic amine derivative, 4,4′-(diphenylsilanediyl)bis(N,N-diphenylaniline) (TSBPA), was synthesized as a high triplet energy hole transport material for blue phosphorescent organic light-emitting diodes (PHOLEDs) and the device performances of the blue PHOLEDs were investigated. TSBPA was compared with common N,N′-dicarbazolyl-3,5-benzene as the hole transport material for blue PHOLEDs, and low driving voltage and improved power efficiency were demonstrated.
